Spokane Civic Theatre
Did you know that Phedre Burney-Quimby, who starred as Mona in the Best Little Whorehouse in Texas at Spokane Civic Theatre and is now playing Vern in BINGO, played the leading role in a 1984 production of Annie?
She has now been cast in the role of Miss Hannigan for Spokane Civic Theatre’s upcoming production of Annie and will pass the torch to Sophia Caruso, who will play Annie this spring. Directed by Yvonne AK Johnson, tickets for Annie go on sale 4/23/12.

Is this theatre or is it a Bingo Hall?
Opening this Friday at Spokane Civic Theatre in the Firth Chew Studio, BINGO is not just a musical. Some of you will be doing much more than sitting. You’ll actually be part of the action. Feel like playing some bingo with the cast of BINGO? You could win Spokane Civic Theatre cookies from Just American Desserts, a gift certificate to Finders Keepers or tickets to the Spokane Chiefs. Oh, and a little extra Spokane Civic Theatre SWAG. Have we convinced you enough to want to come and play?Call 509.325.2507 to order your tickets before it’s too late to BINGO! So you tell me, is this theatre or is it a Bingo Hall?

Jen Birkey let us in to see a couple of the costumes she and Jan Wanless have been creating for Bingo the “splashy, zippy, fun new musical comedy” opening at Spokane Civic Theatre on March 16th. With tickets only $25 and an amazing cast and crew, what are you waiting for?

The Cast of Bingo wins all around!
Congratulations to the Cast of Spokane Civic Theatre’s Bingo!
You may recognize some of these fine folks - such as Miss Mona, she runs a place of ill repute otherwise known as the Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (playing on the Main Stage at Spokane Civic Theatre for one more weekend!). You might also recognize Laura otherwise known as Rita and New Modern from the Triumphant Season opener, Thoroughly Modern Millie. And Janice Abramson? I don’t know….could it be that she has been a fixture at Civic for many many many years and her dedication has made more than one production succeed? Perhaps. It could also be the fact the she won the City of Spokane Arts Community Leadership award just this last year.
Either way, get ready for Bingo, sponsored by Dwell and RH Cooke & Associates, running from March 16 - April 15 in the Firth Chew Studio at Spokane Civic Theatre!
