Peter Hardie has designed scenery, lights and special effects for most of Spokane Civic Theatre’s productions over the past 30 years. The Spokane Arts Commission recently honored him with the Individual Artist award for his accomplishments. Peter served as adjunct faculty at Whitworth University for many years.

Hot Off The Presses - Spokane Civic Theatre
Ok so maybe it is not that hot off the presses but here’s the latest Spokane Civic Theatre news straight from Yvonne AK Johnson:
- Kathie Doyle-Lipe is directing Duck Hunter Shoots Angel on the Main Stage of Spokane Civic Theatre. In fact, she is holding auditions this evening.

- After 30 years as Technical Director at Spokane Civic Theatre, Peter Hardie will be retiring his full-time position effective the end of the season (June 30). He will continue his service in a freelance capacity.

- David Baker, currently Spokane Civic Theatre’s Assistant Technical Director will assume the role of Technical Director at that time.

- A National search is underway for the position of Assistant Technical Director/Designer this spring. The position will begin in July.
